raya.

salam,
today is the 16th day of ramadhan. time flies so freaking fast!
years ago when i was in high school, me and my good friend-laili, used to go to the bazaar ramadhan almost every day. haha. jual muka. ;) and coverline when we saw the guys we liked. hahha.those were the days..

i used to look forward for raya. especially when my grandparents were alive.i remember how we used to get ready in the morning wearing old baju kurungs, coz we were going to the mosque and to kubur. after that we would come back home and get ready, put on make ups. and have our breakfast/lunch/brunch. then we would salam bersalaman with whoever in the house.

when our aunts and uncles came,of coz everyone was running towards them for duit raya.. and we would take pictures, the whole family. and the immediate families. then only my family would salam with my mother.. usually my dad wont be around. around 1 or 2 pm only he will show up. coz he beraya with his side of the family.

usually when we were at papa's kampung, we will go to kada for colek buah. and we will have bbq for dinner..paly with mercuns.

i miss those times.. now that im working and i feel sssoooo damn old! now im the one whi have to give out duit raya and not the one who is receiving. so its kinda sux! last time i used to get at least rm350 or 400. at times i get higher amount of duit raya.. i miss those days..when i was young and free..

but now i have a child and another one is on his/her way..i want to make sure he/she will have the fun that i had. all those memories,i will never forget.
