usually, the last day of ramadhan,we would break the fast at arwah mek ibu.the must have dish for me was the ayam golek madu! thats my favourite! usually at night we would go out and look for colek ayam!! damn! i miss those dishes!
and days before that we would break the fast at papa's place. there i would look for my kuih malas! and they would look for tuak, gulai kawah! and at night cousins and aunties and uncles will look for colek buah at KADA.
the night before raya, usually me,dahlia,oley and affan would go to KB MALL for any last minute shopping. :D
i remember there was a time the four of us went to bazaar ramadhan, and we just arrived at the bazaar, i was too lazy to go out, so dahlia went with oley. affan n i were waiting in the car because affan suddenly had a stomachache. he was squatting down in the car. i can still imagine his position,his expression! hahaha. it was damn funny! we had to switch off the air cond. n when we asked him to go to the nearby clinic to use the W.C, he doesnt want to. so we had to rush home for him.
i miss the nasi dagang, nasi kerabu, white house, lompat tikam, my aunt's karipap kecik!
first day of raya we usually have lontong, ketupat, kuah kacang, and rendang! at my father's side the nasi dagang is the main course. second day of raya or was it the third day, we would go to umi's place for their satay! and usually we would have BBQ at papa's side. and we go to WHITE HOUSE. and eat nasi air at pantai. but i dont remember the name of the pantai. is it pantai sri 7?
haih.. those were the days...
one of these days, i will drag hadi to go back there! :D :D
